Goals conceded deep into injury time meant defeat for both our Men’s and Ladies’ First Teams this weekend.

Men’s First Team – Saturday
An injury‑hit squad took on Cookham Dean and, after falling behind early, battled back through Cameron Pritchard. Despite creating numerous chances, we just couldn’t find that second goal. Then, with the last kick of the game in the 93rd minute, Cookham snatched all three points with a fine finish.

Ladies’ First Team – Sunday
A sense of déjà vu followed as the Ladies faced Abingdon. In a very even contest, the team gave 100% effort throughout, but once again an injury‑time goal proved decisive, handing the Ladies their first defeat of the season in a narrow 1–0 loss.

Ladies’ Reserves
The Ladies’ Reserves took on league favourites and free‑scoring Hayes & Yeading — a side who had already scored 33 goals in their first three games. The team fought bravely and created several chances, but eventually conceded in the 40th minute. Pushing hard for an equaliser opened the game up, and the final score was 6–0 to H&Y.
