Leopard Reds had a tough game against Burnham. We only had 11 players and no subs.

The girls played their socks off, they ran and ran, they fought off some strong tackles and defended resolutely breaking up lot of Burnhams play and trying hard to move forward together.

Elsie made some fantastic saves, stopping some hard shots and tipping a few over the bar too.

Sim, Isa, Ruby and Sofia worked hard at the back and kept a strong line, also with some great covering of each other.

Becca and Holly made some great challenges in the danger area of the pitch and were picking out those passes to our forwards. Ria stopped a couple of opportunities for Burnham by getting that tackle in just before they shot and made some good runs forward.

Lacey, Becky and Chelsea had some great chances at goal. Lacey with a fantastic free kick which just went over the bar.
A fantastic ball was crossed to Chelsea who narrowly missed past the post and Becky running head on with the ball through their defence until they then decided to put 2 players on our forwards. Just a testimony to how well we played.

Leopard Reds a fantastic effort and you played ‘the Finch way’ with impeccable manners.
