Finchampstead Ladies delivered a fantastic all-round team performance at home to Kidlington to secure an emphatic 8-0 home victory, controlling the game from the first whistle to the last.

Leading the charge was Ruby, who was in outstanding form with four goals, while Smaje added a superb clinical brace. Izzy and Emily also got on the scoresheet with excellent individual goals to cap off a dominant attacking display.

However, the performance is not just about the team goals. The platform for the victory was again built by a superb defensive unit of Chloe, Layla, Mrs T, Georgia and Immy, who were outstanding throughout. Solid, organised and composed in possession, they gave the opposition very little opportunity to threaten and protected Lucy's goal brilliantly. When called upon, Lucy was commanding, assured and alert, earning a thoroughly deserved clean sheet.

In front of them, the midfield unit of Smaje, Beth, Eshe and Summer controlled the tempo of the match from start to finish. Their work rate, movement and quality on the ball allowed Finchampstead to dictate play, win second balls and continually create attacking opportunities with great wide play from Izzy, Ebony and Emily. It was a performance full of energy, discipline and intelligence that set the tone for the entire team.

With every player contributing, this was a true collective effort and one of the most complete performances of the season so far.
