A brilliant all-round performance saw the Lynxes crowned champions with a 3–0 win in the final. They got off to the perfect start, with Phoebe Benson finding the net in just the 2nd minute after a great assist from Immie Phipps. The pressure continued, and the second goal came on 29 minutes when Immie delivered a dangerous corner that deflected off a Marlow defender and into the net.
It was a competitive game throughout, with Marlow applying constant pressure, but the Lynxes defence stood strong. Amelie Perrin and Vivienne Wright were rock solid at the back, supported by an excellent performance in goal from Betsy Fenner. In midfield, Aubrey Sharp, Immie Phipps, Phoebe Benson and Anya Maini controlled the game brilliantly, supporting the defence and quickly turning play into attack.
Up front, Delilah Murray and Ava Reid were a constant threat, and it was Ava who sealed the win in the 38th minute, intercepting the ball and calmly placing it into the bottom corner.
A special mention goes to Betsy Fenner, who was awarded the Lynxes’ Player of the Match, “Lilly the Lynx,” while Immie Phipps was also deservedly recognised with the official Player of the Match award by the game officials. A fantastic team performance in the final, full of determination, teamwork, and quality from start to finish
